Hoi An - Ancient Town Walking

Our guide will pick you up at your hotel and transfer to Hoi An town. Exploring Hoi An on foot is one of the best ways to absorb the beauty of this city. While walking around Hoi An, exploring the small yet beautiful town, tourists (even frequent visitors) find that it is a place of quiet and peace. The unique atmosphere combines elements of Vietnam, China and Japan. The most remarkable views are from the ancient houses, reminding visitors of a long gone past and providing a momentary glimpse of a more subdued and simple time.

Overnight Cruise on Halong Bay

Day 1: Ha Noi – Ha Long (L,D)                                    

Pick up at your hotel for transfer from Hanoi to Halong Bay ( 170km~ 3,5 hours). Upon arrival, check in cruise. Cruising along Bai Tu Long area has the wild beauty with the panoramic natural views while enjoy a delicious buffet lunch.

Bat Trang - Dong Ho - But Thap

We will drive 15 km east from Hanoi to Bat Trang Village, very famous for its fine ceramics. On arrival, you will be able to stroll in the small alleys of this old village stopping to watch the local people crafting their products. We will visit some of the houses used as workshops and showrooms, marveling at the selection of ceramic items rich in varieties and styles. After Bat Trang Village, we will drive to Dong Ho, a village famous for its traditional folk paintings.

Mai Chau Valley

We will pick you up at your hotel to travel to Mai Chau located in Hoa Binh Province, approximately 135 km from Hanoi. We will zigzag along Cun Slope 12 km through Cao Phong District to the Mai Chau Valley. From the top of the Cun Mountain, you can admire the superb panoramic view of Mai Chau surrounded by its green valleys and stilt houses. Many ethnic minorities, including the White Thai Ethnic group, live in Mai Chau.

VAN PHUC SILK VILLAGE

We will pick you up from  your hotel for a 45-minute car ride heading North-West of Hanoi to Van Phuc silk village. This well-known village is traditionally associated with silk weaving in Ha Dong.  The craft of Silk weaving was started over 1000 years ago in Van Phuc, and remains a rich tradition to this day. You will take a peaceful stroll, and enjoy an ancient view of a Northern Vietnamese village, with communal houses, fish Ponds  and ancient banyan trees all alongside modern houses. Then, we will visit the families for whom silk production is a way of life.

Hoa Lu - Trang An

We will pick you up at your hotel drive two hours to the Ninh Binh Province. There, we will stop to visit Hoa Lu- the Ancient Capital of Vietnam in the 10th and 11th centuries. The city stood as the capital for 41 years (968 - 1009), the first 12 years of which were under the Dinh Dynasty of King Dinh Tien Hoang. Later the Le Dynasty under King Le Dai Hanh ruled for 29 years. Both King Dinh and King Le have temples dedicated to them here.

CITY TOUR - HISTORICAL SITES

Pick up at the hotel in the morning and drive to the historic complex of Ba Dinh. Visit Ba Dinh Square, where the late President Ho Chi Minh read Vietnam’s Proclamation of Independence on 2 September 1945. Visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum  and continue to the One-Pillar Pagoda, a must-see monument in Hanoi. The One-Pillar Pagoda is an ancient Buddhist pagoda supported by only one pillar.Built in the early 11th century during the reign of King Ly Thai Tong, the pagoda resembles a lotus blossom.

TUOL SLENG & CHOENG EK HALF DAY BY VEHICLE

Drive to the Killing fields of Choeung Ek (16 km south of Phnom Penh). Between 1975 and 1978 about 17.000 men, women, children and infants (including nine westerners) detained and tortured at S-21 prison were transported to the extermination camp of Choeung Ek. They were often bludgeoned to death to avoid wasting precious bullets. Fragments of human bone and bits of cloth are scattered around the disinterred pits. Over 8000 skulls, arranged by sex and age, are visible behind the clear glass panels of the Memorial Stupa, which was erected in 1988.

ANGKOR WAT HALF DAY

You will visit the most famous & magnificent Angkor Wat temple.
This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. With many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water, carved low-reliefs about Ramayana Story and day-to-day life at the time of Angkor's construction.
