8.30 AM: Pick up at your hotel. We start to visit the Reunification Palace, also known as the Independence Palace, is the symbolic site of the end of the Vietnam War during the Fall of Saigon on April 30, 1975. Housed in a former United States administration building and formerly known as the Museum of American War Crimes, the War Remnants Museum is the most popular museum of Ho Chi Minh City. It gathers a collection of the machinery, weapons, photos, and documentation of Vietnam’s wars. Located next to each other and right in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Post Office are the two of the best highlights of old Saigon architecture. Have lunch at a charming local restaurant.
Afternoon, the tour will begin with a relaxing and interesting cyclo ride to Lady Thien Hau Temple. The Lady Thien Hau Temple (the Goddess of the Sea) is one of the most ancient temples in China Town area. After visiting the temple, you will have the opportunity to walk around China Town and visit some of the local shops selling traditional Chinese products including: medicinal herbs, stamps, tobaccos, clothing, etc. After departing from the China Town area, we will visit Cha Tam Church. We will then go shopping at Binh Tay Market, the biggest market in Ho Chi Minh City and drive back to your hotel.
