Discover Vietnamese gastronomy through a hands-on cooking experience guided by a local chef. Learn essential ingredients, explore traditional kitchen tools, and prepare classic dishes yourself. Along the way, you’ll uncover culinary history, dining etiquette, and the art of mastering chopsticks—before enjoying the meal you’ve created.

Itinerary

Pick-up: 8:00AM – Drop-off: ~12:00PM

You will have a chance toĀ discover Vietnamese Gastronomy Art and learn how to prepare authentic Vietnamese dishes. Pick up at your hotel and transfer to Ben Thanh Market, our chef will wait you there and take you for a walk in the market to collect ingredients for your dishes.Ā 

Apart from the preparation and cooking under Chef guidance, you will be introduced to the traditional Vietnamese kitchen with cooking utensils that linked to the Vietnamese way of life in the past, some of the history of Vietnamese Cuisine from its roots in the Hue Citadel Imperial Cuisine to the effects of various influences from both Western and Eastern Cultures. Finally you will learn the intricacies of the Vietnamese dining etiquette and technique to master the usage of chopsticks.Ā
