This three–hour walking tour will take you through historical monuments in the heart of Saigon and some of its hidden gems. First, we pick you up at hotel and transfer to Reunification Palace. The tour starts with a visit to Reunification Palace. On April 30th 1975 the ‘American War‘ officially ended when tank number 843 of North Vietnamese Army crashed through the gates of the Reunification Palace. At that time, it was residence of President of Republic of Vietnam.Ā
After that, you will stop off at Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Central Post Office, two of the best examples of classical old Saigon architecture. We will make our way to the Saigon River, stop in some of the most emblematic locations of the city and end the city walking tour at Bitexco tower. The memorable last stop is the Saigon Skydeck on the 49th floor of the Bitexco Financial Tower. This enclosed observatory provides a panoramic outlook and 360–degree views from the second -tallest skyscraper in Saigon.Ā
