Overview

This four-hour private morning tour focuses on the early daily routines of Ho Chi Minh City residents. Starting at 6:00 AM, the itinerary includes a visit to Tao Dan Park to observe community exercise routines, the Ho Thi Ky wholesale flower market, and a traditional local breakfast. It provides a practical and straightforward look into local daily life before the city reaches its peak traffic hours.

Itinerary

  • Pick-up: 6:00 AM (at your central hotel)

  • Drop-off: ~10:00 AM

Tao Dan Park & Morning Activities: Start the tour early at Tao Dan Park, a central green space where locals gather for morning exercise. Walk along the tree-lined paths to see the traditional bird club, where owners bring their cages daily to train their birds to sing. Sit at a park-side vendor with a local tea or coffee to observe this daily routine. You will also see residents practicing Tai Chi, a martial art originally from China that focuses on slow, controlled movements.

Ho Thi Ky Flower Market: Take a short ride to Ho Thi Ky, the city’s primary wholesale flower market. Walk through the active alleys filled with tropical flowers transported daily from the Mekong Delta and Da Lat.

Local Breakfast & Return: Conclude the walking portion of the tour by eating breakfast at a nearby local restaurant. You can listen to your guide explain the ingredients and preparation of a typical southern Vietnamese morning meal. Afterward, you will be driven back to your accommodation.
