Itinerary

Day 1 – Da Nang - Hoi An (-)

Xin chào and welcome to Central Vietnam! Upon arrival in Da Nang, your driver will transfer you to Hoi An — a beautifully preserved trading port recognized by UNESCO for its heritage and charm.

Spend your free time wandering through lantern-lined streets, admiring old merchant houses, and tasting iconic local dishes like cao lầu or chicken rice.

Overnight in Hoi An.

Included: Private airport transfer · Hotel accommodation

Day 2 – Hoi An City Tour Full Day (B, L)

Start your morning with a gentle bicycle ride through peaceful village paths and green rice paddies en route to Kim Bong Carpentry Village, known for its skilled woodworkers and traditional boat building.

From there, board a boat and glide along the Thu Bon River toward Van Lang Fishing Village and the lush Bay Mau Water Coconut Forest. Surrounded by mangrove palms and narrow canals, this area was once a wartime refuge and is now home to generations of fishing families. Climb into a basket boat and float through the forest, where local rowers share stories, demonstrate traditional net casting, and maybe even show off some spinning tricks!

Later, join a local family for a warm and hands-on cooking experience. You’ll prepare signature Hoi An dishes like Tam Hữu (shrimp, pork, and herbs on skewers) and Bánh Xèo (crispy Vietnamese pancakes). After lunch, enjoy a calming foot soak with medicinal herbs, a time-honored wellness tradition.

In the afternoon, explore the heritage heart of Hoi An. Visit the Quan Cong Temple, built in honor of a Chinese general known for loyalty and courage, and wander through the ornate Phuc Kien Assembly Hall. Cross the famous Japanese Covered Bridge, and visit the 200-year-old Tan Ky Ancient House, filled with original architecture and family heirlooms.

End your day wandering through the lively Hoi An Market, where fresh seafood, tropical fruit, spices, and handicrafts await.

Overnight in Hoi An

Included: Guided tour · Bicycle & boat · Cooking class · Meals: B, L

Day 3 – Hoi An (B)

Enjoy a slow morning in Hoi An — perhaps explore hidden alleys, visit tailors, or unwind by the beach.

Optional: Half day trip to My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage Site nestled in a quiet valley about an hour from town. Once the spiritual heart of the ancient Champa Kingdom, these red-brick temples and towers — some dating back to the 4th century — reveal a fascinating blend of Hindu symbolism and Cham artistry

Overnight in Hoi An.

Included: Meals: B · Hotel accommodation

Day 4 – Hoi An - Da Nang (B)

After breakfast, drive to Da Nang to explore the Marble Mountains, a cluster of limestone peaks filled with caves, pagodas, and viewpoints overlooking the city and coastline.

Continue to the Cham Museum, home to the world’s largest collection of Cham sculptures. Its intricate sandstone carvings and statues offer fascinating insights into the once-flourishing Champa civilization of Central Vietnam.
Overnight in Da Nang.

Day 5 - Ba Na Hill - Hue (B, L)

Travel to Ba Na Hills, a mountaintop resort often called a “miniature Europe in Vietnam.” Ride the world-record cable car and marvel at the famous Golden Bridge, gracefully held by two giant stone hands rising from the mountains.

Stroll through the French Village, with its quaint squares, cathedral, and charming European-style architecture. Enjoy lunch in the refreshing mountain air with sweeping views of the surrounding landscapes.

In the afternoon, continue your journey to Hue along the spectacular Hai Van Pass, one of Vietnam’s most scenic coastal routes. From the summit, take in breathtaking views of lush mountains on one side and the vast ocean on the other.

Overnight in Hue.

Included: Cable car ticket · Private transfer · Meals: B, L

Day 6 - Hue City Tour Full Day (B, L)

Spend the day discovering the cultural heart of Vietnam in Hue, the former imperial capital. Begin with the Imperial Citadel, a UNESCO site encompassing palaces, temples, gates, and the Forbidden Purple City — once the seat of the Nguyen emperors. Visit the serene Thien Mu Pagoda, perched on the banks of the Perfume River, with its tall Phuoc Duyen tower that has become a symbol of Hue.

Continue to explore the royal tombs of the Nguyen emperors, each reflecting a unique blend of history and architecture. The Tomb of Minh Mang impresses with its grandeur, symmetry, and harmony with nature, surrounded by pine forests and lotus lakes. The Tomb of Khai Dinh, though smaller, captivates with its intricate mosaic decorations, dark stone walls, and a striking fusion of Vietnamese and French styles.

Throughout the journey, experience the contemplative charm and imperial legacy of Hue — a city where history, culture, and natural beauty intertwine.

Overnight in Hue.

Day 7 – Hue Departure (B)

Enjoy your final morning in Hue at leisure. Depending on your flight schedule, you may wish to take a peaceful walk along the Perfume River, visit a local market for souvenirs, or simply relax and soak up the tranquil atmosphere of the former imperial city.

Your driver will then transfer you to Phu Bai International Airport for your onward flight.
