Overview
Seven days, three distinct worlds. Begin in the electric energy of Ho Chi Minh City — navigating its maze of alleyways on a vintage Vespa, tasting grilled meats and bánh mì from street vendors who’ve perfected their craft for decades. Go underground at the Cu Chi Tunnels, where narrow passages and hidden trapdoors tell a story of extraordinary wartime ingenuity.
Trade the city for the slow, green world of the Mekong Delta — rowing through shaded canals, watching coconut candy pulled by hand, and rising before dawn for the sensory spectacle of Cai Rang Floating Market, where hundreds of wooden boats trade produce on the water. Then fly South to Phu Quoc, where white-sand beaches, coral-rich waters, and unhurried island days bring the journey to a natural, restful close.
No two travelers are the same. This itinerary is fully customizable. Our local experts are here to shape a journey that feels entirely your own.

After returning to the city, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing your exploration. At the War Remnants Museum, powerful exhibits offer a raw and moving look at the cost of conflict.

Your day begins with a drive from Saigon into the lush heart of the Mekong Delta. After about 2.5 hours, you arrive in Vinh Long and wander its lively town market, where stalls overflow with vegetables, tropical fruits, and river fish — a vibrant snapshot of delta life.
From here, board a boat along the Co Chien River. Pause at a family workshop to watch how puffed rice and coconut candy are made, tasting them warm with a cup of tea. A short walk through orchards leads to the Coconut House, built entirely from coconut trees more than 80 years ago. Meeting the owner, you’ll hear how every part of the tree — trunk, leaf, and shell — was used to create beams, walls, and furniture.
Next, cycle (or walk) through village orchards, stopping at a honeybee farm and a longan-drying workshop. Back at the Coconut House, sit down to a traditional lunch surrounded by the scent of fruit trees and coconut groves.
In the afternoon, glide through a quiet canal on a hand-rowed sampan, then visit a riverside Vinh Long pottery kiln, where artisans still shape and fire the region’s signature red clay. End the day with a relaxing boat ride back to the pier before continuing your trip to Can Tho, the largest city in the Mekong Delta.

FAQ
This tour runs year-round, but the ideal time is from October to April, when the weather across Vietnam is generally drier and more pleasant. Halong Bay and the Mekong Delta are especially beautiful during this period.
No, international airfare is not included. We’re happy to help with flight advice if needed.
This tour is priced based on our Comfort Standard — carefully selected 3-star boutique hotels that offer excellent service, convenient locations, and authentic charm. However, we also offer Deluxe (4-star) and High-End (top-notch 5-star) hotel options for those seeking extra comfort or luxury. We don’t rely solely on star ratings — we choose hotels for their style, hospitality, and traveler experience. In some cases, a well-run 3-star hotel may offer more personalized service than a larger 4-star property. If you’d like to upgrade or tailor your accommodations, just let us know — we’ll match you with the perfect fit.
Most travelers need a Vietnam visa, which can often be applied for online as an e-visa before departure. The process is simple, but requirements vary depending on your nationality. If you’re unsure, we’re happy to guide you through it.
The local currency is the Vietnamese Dong (VND). Credit cards are widely accepted in hotels, restaurants, and shops in larger cities. However, it’s a good idea to carry some cash for smaller purchases, tipping, or shopping in rural areas and local markets.
Vietnam’s climate varies by region. In the South, there are only 2 seasons, here is the Weather overview of Southern Vietnam:
• Wet Season (May – October): Hot and humid with almost daily bursts of heavy rain. These showers usually last 1 to 2 hours, primarily in the afternoon or evening
• Dry Season (November – April): The absolute best time to visit. Expect clear blue skies, brilliant sunshine, and lower humidity, making it ideal for outdoor and beach activities.
Tipping isn’t compulsory, but it’s appreciated — especially for guides, drivers, and cruise staff. As a guideline:
• Local guide: $5–10/day
• Driver: $3–5/day
• Hotel porters and restaurant staff: small tips are welcome
