NORTHERN VIETNAM: HANOI, HALONG BAY, SAPA, CAO BANG, HA GIANG The north has four seasons with a cold winter and hot summer. It’s around 5˚C (41˚F) in winter and up to 35˚C (95˚F) in summer. *April – October: warm and humid at around 31˚C (90˚F) and heaviest rainfall between July and August *November – March: cold, average temperature is 20˚C (68˚F).
